EL MEDANO PROCESSION
Each year at the end of September, as part of the local fiestas, this traditional event takes place as pilgrims and the faithful, dressed as Fishermen, accompany a statue of the Virgin by the faithful and pilgrims to Playa Chica, where it is loaded aboard a boat and taken in procession to the coast of the municipality. It is a very popular and significant event.
