GUAJARA MOUNTAIN
At an altitude of 2718 meters, the Mountain of Guajara is the highest peak of the Las Cañadas mountain range. It is the third highest mountain in the Canary Islands and is named after the legend of Princess Guajara, who after losing her beloved Tinguaro in the Battle of Aguere, took the mountain, and eventually threw herself off its edge.
