ITER
INSTITUTE OF RENEWABLE ENERGY TECHNOLOGY (ITER) was created in 1990 by the Tenerife Island Council to research the islands renewable energy resources and sustainable development, also their natural groundwater resources and the monitoring and prediction of volcanic and seismic activity.
Among its facilities are 25 energy efficient houses, which are energy self-sufficient and optimize environmental conditions.
